Hi there

If you are a recruiter, here is a quick synopsis of who I am.

First off, I am a software engineer and web developer. I have been developing professionally since 2016. I mostly work in the backend but as you can see from this website, I am a full stack developer. I currently work as a Full Stack Developer for Capital Insurance Group. My ideal stack for website and app development is Typescript frontend, Nodejs backend, PostgresSQL database with a Redis cache server.

Secondly, I am professionally experienced in CI/CD pipeline development. This website is built on Vercel so it takes care of most of the heavy lifting for me but I am familiar with AWS pipeline, Jenkins, and other CI/CD solutions.

Lastly, I am an expert with systems and system design. I have set up an entire stack locally with NGINX load balancer and reverse proxy and automatic building and deploying. I have also set up multiple stacks entirely on the cloud using AWS tools.

Thank you for your consideration and I hope to be in contact soon.

Biography

If you are NOT a recruiter, hello and welcome! My name is Aeji or Anthony, I do not like long walks on the beach unless it is with the love of my life; Lexi. I have three pets; a border collie named Hari and two cats named Neru and Purin.

I was born in Paramount, California in 1994. My earliest memories are attending a pre-kindergarten school in our local community. I have been told that I was extremely reserved and shy as a child which led me to be considered a good child. I was always told that I was relatively smart when compared to my peers. Starting in third grade, I was placed into gifted classes up until I moved to Costa Mesa in sixth grade.

My life changed drastically at this point. Prior to this, my mother and grandmother refused to ever let us play outside because of the dangers that were associated with being outdoors. After moving to Orange County, all those fears were squashed. The fear of being outside led me to develop a love for video games. I remember playing Pokemon Red version on my Gameboy color for hours. One fateful day, I decided to play hooky from my afterschool program to play and my mom smashed my Gameboy Advanced SP on the ground after frantically searching for me. Mom, if you are reading this, I hope you know that this is a very core memory of mine.

Anyway, I played many games growing up from the Jet Set Radio Future demo disc on the Xbox to Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo 64 and even Toontown online before the servers were shut down. Video games are what sparked my interest in programming. Unfortunately, I did not have any mentors or teachers to guide me on this path so my only learning prior to middle school was through MySpace and Tumblr.

My very first programming class was in middle school. I do not even remember the name of the class but it was using a very basic scripting language to create small graphics in charts.

To be continued...
